VIDEO: Obama Addresses Romney's "47 Percent" on Letterman

Catching up with the latest news ...

President Obama appeared last night on The Late Show with David Letterman. After a brief and amusing exchange about the President's physique, the talk show host asked POTUS about Mitt Romney's now-infamous and "dismissive" remarks about the so-called "47 percent."

"Is this what rich guys at country clubs are talking about?" asked Letterman.

"I don't know what he was referring to but I can tell you this," said President Obama. "When I won in 2008, 47% of the American people voted for John McCain. They didn't vote for me. And what I said on election night was even though you didn't vote for me, I'm going to work as hard as I can to be your president. One of the things I've learned as President is you represent the entire country. ... My expectation is if you want to be President, you have to work for everybody. Not just for some."

This was Ms. Love's 25th annual appearance to sing the Phil Spector holiday classic. This year's performance was even more memorable because she was accompanied by a full orchestra and 20+ backup singers.

This was Ms. Love's 24th annual appearance to sing the Phil Spector holiday classic. This year's performance was even more memorable than last year. Darlene Love, at age 68, has finally been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Love, love, love. Watch the magic AFTER THE JUMP ...

VIDEO: Janelle Monáe's "Tightrope" Performance on David Letterman

The High Funkstress of Fierceness Janelle Monae made her network television debut last night on the Late Show With David Letterman. Monáe's new album The ArchAndroid dropped yesterday and her jazz, funk and gospel fused arrangement was just as amazing as the performance—which ended with her spinning around, taking off her jacket and donning a cape a la James Brown.

And part of that sense comes from the confidence Monáe and her Atlanta contemporary, the rapper B.o.B., whose first album, B.o.B. Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray, dropped just weeks before The ArchAndroid, both project."

Monáe is signed to Sean Combs' Bad Boy label and Didy was behind stage during the performance. Letterman coaxed him to come out, watch the performance WHEN YOU JUMP ....
