A very interesting segment on "Judge Mathis", where the judge decided a case where the plaintiff—Nicholas in the blue shirt—was possibly a closet case. The defendant, David, claims there were boyfriends and his friend insisted they were not.
Said Judge Mathis: "If you are gay ... I think you should be up front about it. So many young men and women try to stay in the closet because their family and friends might be biased, or what have you. Forget about them. Be who you are." [APPLAUSE]
Mathis added: "Look at your friend over there, he doesn't care what people think about him."
Mathis also took on anti-gay fundamentalists. "What about what the Bible says about women? They ignore that."
David said he was "forced" to come out to his family as a result of the dispute. Mathis said "hoped" families would not reject their gay sons or daughters and added: "I believe that most sexual orientations come biologically and not by choice." Watch the segment AFTER THE JUMP ...
