Good news and bad news for fans of the trashtastic Real Housewives of Atlanta. The hit reality show is in pre-production for its third season. The bad news? The buzz is that NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak have become so demanding, producers are looking to replace them:
According to a source, Leakes and Zolciak are demanding more money to appear on the show than Bravo cares to dish out — and producers are so fed up with their diva-esque requests, they're quietly making plans to move on without the two. "Bravo has been taking meetings with some notable and wealthy Atlanta women about possibly joining the show," says the insider. "They're trying their best to keep the process under wraps, but they're gearing up to make a major move in the third season." The insider dishes that the newest Southern socialite will either join the already-rowdy Atlanta crew as a sixth housewife — or replace NeNe or Kim. While a final decision hasn't been made, one Atlanta lady who viewers won't be seeing on the show is Tameka Foster Raymond, better known as Usher's ex-wife.
Kandi Burruss, the newest addition to the cast, has become the most popular and her future on the show is a given. Oh and Sheree Whitfield's once tenuous spot is reportedly secure ever since her catch phrase "Who gonna check me, boo?" ascended into the pop culture zeitgeist.
Is there a RHOA without NeNe and Kim? And where will all the gays go without their "gay magnet"?
