On Tuesday, R20 posted on British Olympic bronze medalist Louis Smith's silver win in pommel horse at the European Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Birmingham. And now for the Germans, who struck gold on the floor exercises.
Leading the charge: 25-year-old Olympian Matthias Fahrig, who competed at Athens 2004. International Gymnast reports: "Matthias Fahrig took the highest score of the day on floor exercises and the second highest on vault. Fahrig's missed routine on pommel horse in the final rotation hardly marred the German effort, and the team defeated the host nation by more than 3 points."
Fahrig also managed to outscore fellow German hotness and all-around European champion Fabian Hambüchen. That's major.
