This morning is an historic day in the Senate Judiciary Committee. The first hearings have began on the "Respect for Marriage Act", which would repeal the so-called "Defense of Marriage Act" (DOMA). The hearings are chaired by Sen. Patrick Leahy (VT). The Twitter hashag is #RepealDOMA.
