A sit-in protest is currently underway at Sen. John McCain's offices in Phoenix, Arizona. Via Twitter: The protesters are opposed to McCain's position on "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" and are urging people to call his office.

The activists are with Phoenix-based H.E.R.O. (Human and Equal rights Organizers). More images of the protesters are at H.E.R.O.'s Facebook group. A rally has been planned for 5P at McCain's office.

VIDEO: Refried Bean Swastikas Smeared at Arizona State Capitol

Vandals smeared a swastika made of refried beans into the glass doors of the Arizona's State Capitol building and is an apparent reaction to the state's extreme, new anti-illegal immigration law. This is the first case of vandalism reported since the law was signed on Friday, reports KTVK.

"Capitol police arrived on the scene at about 6 a.m., after a swastika was found smeared on the glass doors of the House and Senate buildings. While it first looked like mud on the doors, it turned out be refried beans. On the sidewalk, beans were used to write "AZ=Nazi," again with a swastika. It's not clear when exactly the vandalism happened, but police believe it was some time overnight. "That is what happens when there is so much fear and there is so much disappointment," said Gustavo Ramirez, a protester from California. 'The laws that have been passed, they are Nazi laws. They are not considering humanity. They are a crime against humanity.' Ramirez said while he does not support the new law, vandalism is not the way to make a statement."

Meanwhile: Mexican President Felipe Calderon describes Arizona's new law as "racial discrimination." Calderon said his Foreign Ministry and consuls in the United States are seeking to challenge the law, which allows police to question and detain anyone in the they believe may be an illegal entrant.

Phoenix Police Search for 2 Men in Gay Strip Club Shooting

Phoenix police release surveillance photos of the two men seen opening fire at a popular Phoenix gay strip club. The January 20th party catered to black gay men and featured hip-hop music and strippers. The shoot-out happened after an altercation with the DJ and a dancer, according to KPHO.

Witnesses said two men entered the cabaret and began taking with the person who was working behind the front counter, according to police. One of the men asked the employee for an application for amateur dancing night, police said. The other man peered through a curtain and exchanged brief words with the club’s disc jockey, officers said. The men then left the club and walked toward a vehicle in the north parking lot, investigators said.The DJ, accompanied by a dancer for the cabaret, followed the men and exchanged words, police said. The confrontation turned into a shoving match before both groups went their separate ways, police said. Moments later, a vehicle quickly drove to the front entrance of the club and two men emerged with handguns, according to witnesses. The men entered the cabaret and both began firing in the direction of the DJ and the dancer. One of the bullets struck a patron who had been speaking with one of the club’s employees. The gunmen fled the cabaret in a dark blue sedan.

The shooting victim was treated at a local hospital.

No word yet why the disc jockey and dancer argued with the men, or, what was the shooting motive.

Dick's Cabaret made national headlines two years. This was the same strip club where "American Idol" David Hernandez danced for three years.
