PHOTOS: U.S. Surprises Heavily Favored England, Draws 1-1

A freshly-bearded Oguchi Onyewu says he and Team USA are "The Truth". No argument there. A bit of celebrating after their World Cup opener in Group C after ending in a 1-1 draw, a surprising result because England was heavily favored.

Team USA got an "unbelievable break" when England's goalie Robert Green couldn't handle Clint Dempsey's shot. "Rather than rolling into Green's arms, the ball bounced off his hands and wobbled behind him, barely crossing the goal line but far enough to give the U.S. an improbable 1-1 tie with England," reports the Los Angeles Times.
