The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Sheree' Whitfield and Kandi Burris take a break from the drama and take a stand for marriage equality by participating in photographer Adam Bouska's striking "No H8" campaign.
Bouska traveled to Atlanta to photograph the RHOA stars and several local celebs. Atlanta-based blogger and activist Darian Aaron was also featured and shot a behind-the-scenes video interview with the ladies and Bouska. Whitfield tells Darian that she is joining Bouska's campaign to "support the community that supports me,"
Darian also reports this tidbit on the show's resident drama queen: "Kim Zolciak chose to release her inner diva and completely isolated herself from her cast mates and invited media. Maybe she was having a bad hair day or was afraid Sheree' was going to pull her wig off completely this time."
Adam Bouska shares his memories of the No H8 shoots with Isaiah Washington shoots and the late E. Lynn Harris, who died one month ago. A growing number of black celebrities and everyday people are participating in the campaign, he tells Darian, "to help mend fences" after the racial blame game that followed the passage of California's Proposition 8.
