Dominique Hollington just left Paris where he stormed fashion week and walked for Thierry Mugler and Givenchy—who is causing some serious noise this year—among others. Last month in January, Dominque was featured in four shows during Milan Fashion Week including Versace and Vivienne Westwood. Go home or go large, right? Dominique Hollington obviously is going very large.

Lamar James and Shawn Sutton by Tarrice Love

Your Friday morning wakeup call: Rod 2.0 faves Lamar James and Shawn Sutton are among the model and acting hotness captured in a killer editorial by Brooklyn-based photographer Tarrice Love. "Show Me the Light" captures a half dozen black models dressed as angels in all white on the streets of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. 

Above is "superswagger" and super stunna Lamar James, seen in that fierce Sean John runway show and introduced on Rod 2.0 late last year. "Lamar  was my favorite to work with," says the photographer. "He gave me everything I needed in less than 20 minutes."

Sasha is Fierce! Thierry Mugler to Design Beyonce World Tour

This is major. Thierry Mugler returns to the fashion world and will design Beyonce Knowles upcoming world tour. British Vogue reports:

Mugler is to have a creative hand in many facets of the singer's tour, which kicks off in March in Canada. He will serve as a creative adviser, with input on everything from set lighting to choreography, and direct three segments of the show (including the finale), as well as providing stage outfits for the whole production - 58 for Beyonce alone.

Jean Paul Gaultier designed tour costumes for Madonna and Julien Macdonald designed for Kylie's world tour. But this would be the first time a fashion designer has designed an entire tour.

Mugler is best known for creating the 1980s "power bitch" aesthetic. He is also responsible for the glamazon look Beyonce recently sported on the Today show. Knowles reportedly became enamored with the iconic designer after seeing a retrospective at the Metropolitan Museum. Beyonce wore a vintage 1987 Mugler dress for the shoot of newly-released album, I Am Sasha Fierce.

The collaboration with Mugler will further cement Beyonce's diva status with young black gay men and the ballroom community. One of the leading ballroom houses, the House of Miyake-Mugler, is named after the iconic designer and is known for it's over the top body boys and fashionistas ... As well as other "crafty" talent. Sounds like a perfect match.
