It's the end of an era for Tottenham Hotspur. England's star forward and R20 crush object deluxe Jermain Defoe is embraced by his team mate Emmanuel Adebayor at the end of his final home game. Defoe is crossing the pond to join Toronto FC. Defoe began practicing with Toronto this week.
Defoe's final home game was a brief substitute appearance in the 1-0 win against Everton on February 9 in London. The 31-year-old Defoe made 363 appearances and scored 143 goals during his two runs with Tottenham, reports The Globe and Mail.
