A minor mishap for Whitney Houston as she performed live before millions on the weekend finals of The X Factor. After serving as a guest mentor to the show's contestants on Saturday, Houston sang her latest single, "Million Dollar Bill," on Sunday's results show. Halfway through the song, a strap on the back of Houston’s dress popped in half. Nothing was revealed and Houston later joked, "I sang myself out of my clothes."
It was a marked improvement from her less-than-stellar "Good Morning America" performance. However, some gossip blogs are speculating about Houston's state of mind after as she answered (or tried to) several questions after the performance. I'm giving Whitney the benefit of the doubt, the audio could have been poor or it's just nerves after being out of the spotlight for so long. Like to hear your thoughts.
Whitney Houston continues her European tour. Last night she performed "Million Dollar Bill" live on France's popular "Le Grand Journal" which boasts a phab 60s stage design and lighting. "It's a wonderful feeling to take off all these years and return here for this greeting,' she said to the applause. Houston performed "I Look to You" on German's Wetten Dass over the weekend.
It's a nice live set. Whitney's range is perfect for the studio, the acoustics are excellent and the back-up singers added an unexpected three-part gospel harmony. JUMP for the performance and interview. Enjoy.

The official new video Whitney Houston's "Million Dollar Bill." Totally love the song, the retro 1940s inspired nightclub aesthetic and the glam metallic peach dress.
A new track leaks from Whitney Houston's upcoming and much-anticipated I Look To You. "Million Dollar Bill" was written by Alicia Keys and produced by Swizz Beatz.
I. Like. It. It's hot, a club banger and has a gritty seventies, Philadelphia International vibe. Oh and I am loving the fact that Whitney Houston has had some very personal and very public problems and cleaned herself up. She looks like a million dollars in this image from her recent listening party in London, and in that killer Versace dress on the album cover. What do you think?
