VIDEO: Are Black Gay Men Included in the "Gay Agenda"?

The answer is "no", says Watu Jackson.

"If you look at the 'gay agenda', they have been fighting for years to get to where there are and they haven't included Blacks but there have been a few notable exceptions. But they have fought for years ... to get their images on the screen, like the gay couple on Scandal, Glee and on the bigger screen. ... Until we come to together to support one another to have a combine voice, which is much stronger than one voice, [Black men] we remain where there are today. Struggling."

Watu also takes issues with the lack of minorities in How to Survive a Plague, the Academy Award-nominated documentary about the early years of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. The Black and Latino communities have been hard hit by the epidemic since the late 1980s. The epicenter of the domestic epidemic is Black America. The latest surveillance data reports young Black gay and bisexual men have been more affected by HIV/AIDS than any "other population in the world."

AUDIO, TRANSCRIPTS: Supreme Court Oral Arguments on DOMA

The Supreme Court has released the audio of today's historic oral arguments on United States v. Windsor, a federal challenge to Section Three of the Defense of Marriage Act or DOMA. Section Three prohibits federal recognition of legally married same-sex couples and denies more than 1,000 benefits, such as Social Security, pension benefits and preferential tax treatment.

Sections One and Two define marriage as between “one man and woman” and allow states not to recognize legally valid same-sex marriages from other states. Those provisions are not being challenged—yet.

VIDEO: Detroit Pastor's Ordination Criticized as "Sexual" "Offensive"

The video of a prominent Detroit pastor's ordination ceremony has been criticized as "sexual" and "offensive." The internet buzz has become so loud that Bishop Wayne T. Jackson of Impact Ministries International Church claims that he is being "bullied" and has attempted to have the video removed from YouTube, reports The Detroit News.

The clip shows Jackson praying and laying on top of the new bishops. The men are shrouded in red and white cloths during the ceremony. Jackson claims the ordination is similar to the ordination of Catholic priests. The video of the August 2012 ceremony has gone viral in the past week and now has 62,000+ views.

"I have done nothing wrong," said Jackson, a grandfather and married father of nine, said Tuesday. "This was done in front of a thousand people. It was not done in secret."

Jackson said detractors "took over" his Facebook page and posted insulting remarks about the ceremony. "This was really Internet bullying," said Jackson.

He said his attorney is seeking a cease-and-desist order to pull the video from YouTube. "They are using my likeness to spew hate," said Jackson, senior pastor of the church and founder of The Impact Network, a Christian broadcasting network solely owned by African-Americans. "This has been a main attack on homosexuals. If [the ministers] call themselves Christians, they should be leading people with love."

The Rev. Anthony Evans, president of the Washington, D.C.-based National Black Church Initiative, said Jackson "has a right to develop any ceremony he chooses" — but the practice is unusual, offensive and seems to promote homosexuality, a taboo in the black church.

Jackson's analogy to "bullying" is a disservice to the many, many people—especially LGBT—who have been bullied and harassed in the Black church. And it doesn't appear that Jackson or his ministry are inclusive or LGBT-affirming, so that comparison is just a smoke screen.

Freefall is one of the newer web series that has caught my attention. The sexy new web drama was created by writer and director Lamont Pierre, who created the independent feature film Talking with the Taxman About Poetry that co-starred Steph Jones and Vanessa Simmons.

Freefall is part romantic comedy/part drama and focuses on the lives of roommates Xavier, Trent and Cameron. The plot of Episode Three ("Learning How to Sleep Alone") is built around expectations in relationships, falling in love ... and "topping."
