Set your TiVo: Fashion model-actor-law school grad Adewalé Akinnuoye-Agbaje joins the cast of Lost.
Everyone remembers his emotional portrayal of Simon Adebsi on HBO's Oz, probably one of the finer ensemble dramas on recent television. Walé was born in London and was raised there and in Nigeria; moved to Milan in his mid-20s and became a successful model. (What is it with Nigerian male models?) The above photos were lensed by famed fashion photographer Steve Landis for his series Walé and the Boys. The actor credits these images with his initial breakthrough in Hollywood.
More below.
Oz become required Sunday-night viewing for the scenes such as these.
Thanks to our friends Steph & Alek heads up.
I LOVE HIM... I LOVE HIM... I LOVE HIM...

Back in the early 90's he used to work out at the 24hr gym on 17th between 5th and broadway.
A very hot man indeed!

Th guy on the right in the middle photo was also hot for a second in the 90's. Wale is one of my favorite male models ever! Something about him being an ideal physical represntation of my race! Hmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Oh HELL yes!

'Emotional' portrayal? I guess one could call it that. I would call it something hotter ...
... like "highly erotic, bordering on masturbatory!"
Because he was the one who made me want a big ol' angry God-of-a-man to nail me to the wall so well that I'd get up and bake homemade biscuits in the morning.
Despite a brilliant cast, for me, Adebisi WAS 'OZ', and when he died ... the show ended that very day.

Makes me wonder why they cancelled OZ... Loooving the site, it's my fav E-zine...

His acting has been good in everything I've seen him in. Of course, "OZ" is my passion. Rod, I am really happy to see this E-Zine flourishing. Lots of dedication and hard work. Great job.

Outside of his physical appearance, I wonder if he can act. I'll soon see when he is up against the wonderful actors of "Lost." His "Oz" character was one dimensional. I want to see what else he, as an actor, can do.
