BRAVO ROD!

Great insight and wonderful observation. THE FIRST THING THAT I THOUGHT WHEN I SAW THE OPEN SETUP WAS "WHITE LOVER?" WONDER IF THIS WILL COME UP IN THE LTR DIALOGUE! HUGE "OMMISSION" BUT THANKS FOR BRINGING IT UP!

LOOK OUT FOR "THE CHATROOM" IN 2007. WE ARE GONNA MAKE SOME REAL NOISE!

ALWAYS!

Very good post.

Sheldon

Hey Rod,

Thanks for the coverage on your blog. Just wanted to bring some things to light on the Washington Post feature. First, this was a meeting that was put together by myself in an effort to incite dialouge about the post series "Being a Black Man", which had up until this point, made no mention of gays. They did not put this together and in fact met with a lot of resistance from some, having a few refusing to be videotaped and some not taking part becasue of their presence. Second, the meeting lasted for five and a half hours, so needless to say there was A LOT ommitted. The conversation will continue and the dialouge will expand to cover a myriad of issues. I am sure we understand that you cant speak on every issue everytime you convene, but take solace in the fact that nothing was ommitted for the sake of being taboo or politically correct.

Thanks
Sheldon
