Well, I guess he wants to keep his job. But isn't it amazing how progressive the nation of South Africa is? Do the people actually support their government? I don't mean to ask stupid questions, but I'm an American--what do you expect? We don't have progressive people running our government. We have idiots. Actually, I guess South Africa's mandate to provide freedom and human rights for all its people is simply part of the legacy of Nelson Mandella and Bishop Tutu.

I guess they do, Derrick. Like anywhere else, people need leaders and once you present yourself as worthy, people start worshipping you. In Zuma's case, it's interesting how he got to be the politician he is, seeing as the man never got any formal education.
