GUILTY AS CHARGED
GO TO JAIL

M. Mark

Hahaha...Elmo..Hilarious.

What a role model for kids. Seasame Street did the right thing at least until this is cleared up.

Jack

I said it before and will say it again...Chris brown should go to jail. It is clearly evident that he did this (whether it was to Rihanna or not) he should be punished. I hate how celebs think they are so high and mighty and can get away wtih anything.

Danny Rivera

This becomes even more tragic by the day. Of course Sesame Street and Milk should pull the spots and of course radio stations can pull whatever songs they want to pull. They pull songs that aren't selling, they can pull songs because the singer tried to kill his girlfriend.

Now in the Wrigleys thread there was a very sad black gay man (or boy) who was comparing our fight for marriage equality and against homophobia to Chris Brown's "struggle" not to be "judged." Why are these queens trying to invoke equal rights and religious arguments against gays to some stupid teenager who beat down his GF? Its really so very pathetic and sad.

CA

a beating is a beating is a beating...doesnt matter how talented or famous he is. doesnt matter how young he is. doesnt matter how he didnt mean to hurt her......HE DID. HE'S A BATTERER...maybe not before, but now..FOR SURE. get some help Chris, this is bad bad bad bad bad. nobody wins....especially not you. Rhianna...go home....make better choices next time. learn from this. Once is always too often, and once is NEVER enough.

Stephen Milan

I hope that someone in her camp is going to talk to her about getting counseling, especially if she shows ANY sign of wavering on continuing to see him. The worst thing she can possibly do is go back to him, saying, "He promises he'll never do it again. He just lost his temper. It was only that one time. He really didn't mean to."

Simpson

This is so sad on so many levels. Please be well Rihanna.

Brothers, do not raise a fist to your wives, girlfriends or boyfriends. Sistahs, please do not do the same. We need more love and less violence.

Sorry for the multiple posts!

Nicholas

being from a background of being battered myself, this is not a joke to be made light of, it sounds like a pattern with mr. brown. the bail amount isn't nearly enough, he needs to be stopped before he does any more damage or worse, ends up getting himself killed!
thank goodness there are laws to protect battered partners in california, male or female. it's not like it used to be when it seemed like only the batterers had rights. it was very much hush hush and the creeps got away with some major stuff. i am proud of anybody who stands up for there own right to peaceful space...

Nate

I hope Rihanna doesn't give him the time of day after this. The dude appears he was cheating on her and then beat her up. God, this reminds me of Ike Turner... I hope that Brown's carreer is over after that. We already have enough rich punks out there.

Raheem

Ah. The nightly Chris Brown post. More bashing of a sexy young black man who simply made a mistake.

Georgia Peach

Rihanna really should consider doing a public service announcement for battered and abused women, including the pictures the police took from the night of the assault. so many young girls look up to her, this could be a good way to teach them about domestic violence. on another note, any man that feels the need to bash in a womans face over a fight they got in is a coward, a p*ssy, and a total embarrassment to all other men out there. that boy will probably get off though, his attorney will use the defense that he grew up in an abusive home and suffers from post traumatic stress and didnt know its not right to beat the living hell out of a woman just because he felt like it. CHRIS BROWN, YOU ARE A COWARD AND A DISGUSTING WASTE OF FLESH....GET SOME ANGER MANAGEMENT AND I HOPE YOU CAN LEARN FROM YOUR EXPERIENCE. Now that his career is over, i bet we will see him working at a local in and out burger when he gets out of jail.

Danny Rivera

...More bashing of a sexy young black man who simply made a mistake....

BASHING??? Only the facts were reported here. I don't care how he looks. If you think Chris Brown is "sexy", you need to get out more, he is regular or average by New York and New Jersey standards.

A mistake is forgetting to balance your checkbook or maybe run a stop sign. Beating up your girl and busting her lip, biting her arms, abandon her on road, that is not mistake. That is cruel and violent behavior.

But you keep telling yourself that, Raheem.

Carl

Wow,,,,this situation is still hard to believe. Whatever the argument started over it doesn't really matter...there is no way a man should ever hit a woman with his fists!! I hope he realizes his actions just about ruined his life.

Joseph

A MISTAKE???

is that what we're calling busted lips nowadays?

smh

everyone is so quick to excuse and rationalize this little boy. he will continue to do it. he grew up watching it in his family and now older men tell him its okay

i bet you punk azz chris brown wont raise his hand or fist to a man

Clever

i don't beleive Chris Brown did it. Sorry. he's too cute and not type to hurt a woman. he can have any woman he wants maybe there was an accident or someone else was involved

Kevin Perez

Perhaps these lunatic females and gay men wish they were Rihanna because to them, there's nothing more ''sexy'' than being brutalized by some 19 year old prick.

LMAO at all the women and gay men complaining about abuse but justify Chris Brown actions 'cuz he's ''cute''.

Shane Moseley

Umm, for someone named "Clever" you are anything but.

Rihanna was hurt badly and only one person could have did it.

Someone else did this? Like the gunshot on the grassy knoll?

That's funny, "Clever", I guess Chris is covering for someone? Rihanna is making it up?

What a joke lolmao

Kevin Perez

BTW:

Fourth post by Rod on same subject matter and you're all still delusional about Chris Brown.

What does this say about his female and gay fans? Or worse, the Macho wannabe thugs complaining about ''another b*tch being on a brotha's d*ck*''?

Carlos

Thank you Kevin. I have no idea why so many gay MEN are defending a BOY.
Who wouldn't even want them anyway, he is straight! This shows you the pathology in our black gay community.

There is nothing cute about violence but I am sure the brothas in San Quentin will think Chris Brown is very cute.

Carlos

Oh and Kevin, I have read your posts on this blog. For a very young man, you have very intelligent things to say. More intelligent than many so called 'grown men' and 'adults' especially on this issue. peace

Chill Out

That's right Clever, this was probably a mistake we don't know the whole story.

But they should not be pulling his songs from the radio! They don't even know the full story so they need to stop assuming that Chris is the bad guy. Everyone should stop talking bad about him because no one knows the true story except Chris, Rihanna, and God!!!

GRANT

Chris Brown is not CUTE! Beating and hurting people esp those you are close to is not CUTE! And if he could have anyone he wants, why not bounce, why beat up his significant other?

A person was seriously hurt through this whole deal and all some of you stupid people can do is obsess over a "cute" BOY. What Chris did wasnt cute and it sure wasnt a good deed. He deserves to pay for his actions.

I agree with Rod, Kevin and Danny! Our community always puts BOYS on pedestals. Let Chris Brown face the police and have his day in court. And it is perfectly acceptable that radio stations may want to pull his music. He does not have a RIGHT to be on the radio. That is a PRIVILEGE.

Chill Out

no no no
i disagreee, chris brown does have the right to be on the radio, he earned it and has a record deal

They should not be pulling his songs from the radio.
