The Bryan Clay cover and accompanying editorial for the November Fitness Rx is sooo hot that it hurts. The "World's Greatest Athlete" and Olympic gold medalist is photographed by sports photographer Per Bernal in HD. Clay's "bulging" muscles are literally jumping off the page.
Clay won decathlon gold at the Beijing Olympic Games and says his goal is to set a world record "every time" he competes. "I am going to win the World indoor multi-event in Doha in march 2010 and plan to win a medal at the 2012 Olympics in London."
Confidence and hotness. JUMP for the cover. Enjoy.
GOOOD GAWD THAT MAN IS PHINE!!!

He is hot. That stern looking face of his is very attractive and exudes maturity. I love those arms of his. He reminds me of my college days when I used to mess around with those track boys.

Gorgeous.
But something is bothering me. If this is the current issue, how come his image is not on the front page of their website? As a matter of fact, it isn't even on the link marked "current issue at a glance!" What's THAT about?
November issue. They sent me a preview. ;) -RM

While Bryan Clay has always been beautiful, too much gets in the way for me to admire him. He is a very out-there evangelical Christian—the subject comes up in every interview—and although I have yet to hear him speak out against gay people, I would be really surprised, with his background, if he were on the side of gay people.
Plus, he was a featured speaker at the Republican National Convention last year.
Call me maladjusted, but I have real trouble lusting after Republicans, no matter what they look like.

Jim, I had absolutely no idea. None at all. I had to look it up and of course you're right.
I've never heard Clay speak besides from the occasional sports interview. Thanks a million. -RM

Rod: I guess I'm more aware of him than most just because he's from here (Hawai'i), and he has gotten a great deal of press and TV coverage here over the years. Everyone here knows what town Clay grew up in, what high school he went to, and that he had a somewhat troubled childhood. (Hawai'i is so small that anyone who makes it big from here is the source of immense pride and gets endless attention.)
Also, I have seen ads here for conservative/Christian conferences where he has been a motivational speaker.

It's possible to be Christian and still accept differences. Let's hope Clay is open-minded. It's good to see him getting some press. His accomplishment at the Olympics was phenominal, but all we heard about was Phelps. No one knows about Clay. Let's hope that changes.
Oh, yeah...and he's gorgeous.

Meh. Too pretty and needs to eat a sandwich or three, preferably w/ lots of mayo and cheese.

Why did y'all have to kill my buzz by saying he was a Evangelical Republican?!!!
Well, nobody's perfect!
But he is easy on the eyes!

Bryan Clay's a family man and he overcame adolescent problems to become an over-achiever. Whatever his beliefs, he's an accomplished athlete and an Olympic champion. Respect must be paid.
Oh yeah...and he's gorgeous.
I'll always be a fan.
