People believe what they want to believe no matter what is real..

That's all i keep thinkng about, what about the Rev. Wright debacle? Did we just forget that? Its clearly just another way in which white america seeks to further make someone who is not a white american... into an "other." It puzzles me as to why many black Americans continue to vie for the hegemonic majorities' approval when even the president of the unites states, a black man in a suit who went to the "right schools, speaks "articulately", and has a pretty stable home life.... cannot for the life of him catch a break.

Some of those same people believe the world is flat.People will believe what they want to believe. Me, I've seen little green men in my backyard the other night.

So sad. This stems from peoples abandoning real news programs in favor of Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck and even wackier internet and wing-nut radio shows.

Joseph

What's sad is that it matters to so many people that the president might be a Muslim. I know he is not but so what if he was?

I'm looking at 2 ads on the right hand side of this blog. One says Obama Care Stop Him! and the other is an ad defending Arizona's immigration laws against Obama, Mexico and liberal special interest groups. It appears that Google Ads is attempting to prove the stupidity of the 18% of Americans in that poll.

What is the saddest thing in the world is that we are a country where people can't recognize our VP in photographs and can't name the states or other essential information and we are SURPRISED by this!

PEOPLE!!!

The country is racist and wants to find a way to justify its collective hatemongering in this moment and so now, the man with the funny name....TA DA!

Trey

This sounds very familiar. It's the same tired rhetoricthe feline tried to use during the presidential campaign. So no surprise they are doing this now. It's an election year. It didn't work before and it won't work now. As long as we have people like Sarah Palin working for us, Obama will be fine. People like her continue tondestroy the right's credibility.

I often have to remind myself that 58 million people voted for the other guy (John McCain). And while 66 million voted for Barack Obama, millions of people did not.

The point I'm trying to make is, there are tens of millions of people in America who HATE and FEAR their President. There is little he can do to appease them of their unrational fears and angst. Even some Democrats are starting to suffer with PTBPS (Post Traumatic Black President Syndrome).

Despite all of this Hate and Fear Mongering, I will show up at the polls and support this President and his agenda.

Yes We Can

AMEN @ BLACK PEGASUS!!! SHOW UP AND SUPPORT!

If he's not U.C.C any more who's business is it other than his? Pick any denomination and you can find people who think everyone else is doing it wrong. (Even within the interfaith community.)

Obama made a grave error in speaking in support of the mosque! However way to look at it, it's a bad idea. Obama should not have got into it! It's a local matter for one, and highly sensitive one for another. This will cost him dear

GeeGee

@alicia banks,

take a long walk on a short plank!! You have mental health issues if you believe ANYTHING the "other" party says and does....

Justin

The fact that this is even an issue is just more proof that America is a Christian theocracy. Who cares if he's a Muslim, Jewish, Wiccan, or a LaVeyan Satanist for Christ's sake? So much for the No Religious Test Clause. Ugh.

Democrats will lose their majority in November and Obama will lose his residency in the white house in 2012. Bank on it...

Saw a great little piece on CNN with John King about this this morning:
