Your first look at tatted thugporn fantasies Phat Daddy, Hotrod (nsfw) and Angyl Valentino as they transform into sex sirens and fetish slash haute couture models for fashion bible FLAUNT. The editors have kindly provided Rod 2.0 with an exclusive preview for readers.
The editorial was lensed by New York City-based fashion photographer Slava Mogutin. FLAUNT Style Director Long Nguyen creates some brilliant imagery with Marc Jacobs (on Phat Daddy above), Versace, Gaultier, Armani (on Hotrod, second below), DSquared2 and others.
One more of Phat Daddy and a peek at Angyl Valentino's assets AFTER THE JUMP ...

Pretty hot, and congrats to the guys, but the quality of the pics is lacking.

It's a hot layout.
The pics are fine. Not sure have you read Flaunt before, but sometimes the editorials do have an industrial quality. The light and shadows create a "blur" here, I don't necessarily like it, but it's intended.

I think I saw these skinny little boys standing on the corner the other day. Silly me! I had no idea they were PORN GODS!

Nice photos...
But on another Topic. I'd really like to see a quality documentary done on the lives of Black and Latino Men who work in the porn industry. An in-your-face, pulling no punched portrayal of what goes on in these young mens' lives.
1. Is it glamorous?
2. Is the money worth it?
3.Is there lots of drug use?
4. The impact on family life.
5. Dating while working in porn.
And more!
If anyone knows of such a documentry, please tell me where to find it.

@Black Pegasus. A Thug/Black/Urban/Blatino documentary film would be interesting. I saw a doc earlier this year focusing on white gay porn. Underwhelming but definitely interesting.
As for this Flaunt editorial fashion shoot with the Black/Latino actors -- reality people as "stars" and "celebrity" -- NOW porn/adult actors as "models"?
"Are we all living in some sort of alternate universe?" - as Cher Howoritz (Clueless) would say!!!

Not the biggest fan of thug porn personally but these photo shoots are hot...esp. the pics after the jump
@Black Pegasus
That would be interesting if you could get some of them to sit down for interviews or something Keyontyli and Taleon Goffney alone would make for a nice documentary.

Gives me a bit of a stir.
The suggested documentary, if done right, would be interesting.

I totally cosign Kirk.
Forget A for effort, I'm giving this a B for Belief. To paraphrase a recent Wall St Journal article opining Kanye's attempt at fashion design, there’s something about modeling that makes untrained people think they can do it, too.
That said, it's commendable that these guys are branching out of porn. Unless you're Vanessa Del Rio, you can't sling @ss forever.
One of these three recently turned down a shoot with a NY based photographer friend, because it was semi-nude - the nerve! Practice makes perfect, they should be taking every opportunity to get in front of a lens as possible.
